Bastogne 11 Piece Edition Gyuto

This knife is the first instalment in what I’m calling the Maker Series. Each Maker Series knife is a numbered limited edition.

The first one in the series is called Bastogne, named for its Bastogne Walnut wa style handle. A hybrid of English and Claro Walnut, Bastogne Walnut has amazing figure and depth!

The blade is a 220mm x 65mm gyuto profile featuring the same s-grind as my limited and custom knives. The geometry does differs slightly, as there is less distal taper. The other change is this knife has a darkened brushed belt finish versus the hand rubbed finish found on my other knives.

The steel is the same 52100 high carbon steel hardened to 62 Rockwell C as my other knives. The ethos behind these knives is function over form while retaining quality material and fit and finish.

11 numbered (hard engraved into the blade opposite my brand) knives each available for $495 Canadian (~$395 USD) Including a leather wrap and shipping to the US/Canada. I will ship each knife in the order they are purchased. All orders will be shipped by October 2021.
